CHROME EXTENSIONS FOR BLOGGERS

1. TAILWIND
Tailwind is the best Pinterest scheduler out there! Not only does it schedule Pins, but it also helps with scheduling your Instagram and Facebook page now. It is incredible.
I have the Tailwind extension on Chrome, click it and it pulls up a bunch of images to schedule. Or it has a “schedule” button over images on the post. I use it daily.
Grab the Tailwind Extension here.
2. PINTEREST
The Pinterest browser extension makes it possible for you to pin “live”. That means it gets pinned immediately, not scheduled.
You can find the Pinterest extension here.
3. GRAMMARLY
Grammarly is one of the best Chrome extensions for blogging. It proofreads your posts. Whether it’s your email, blog posts, or social media. Basically, anything you type on the computer. Not only does it catch spelling mistakes, but it also catches some key grammar errors. I use the free version, but there is an upgrade available as well (although, I don’t think you’ll need it).
4. GOOGLE ANALYTICS
This chrome extension is great for bloggers because it gives you immediately statistics on the page you are looking at. Something to keep in mind is that it’s not up to the minute. It goes to the day before, but you can adjust the dates.
Download the Google Extension here.
5. 1PASSWORD
This is a paid extension, but I urge you to check it out. 1Password saves your passwords for you and I have been using it for years. I use the extension the most, I simply click it and it fills it in for me. This is awesome because a lot of my passwords are codes that I would never remember.
It’s triple-encrypted.
Something to remember: You have a master password to get in, and 1Password does not store anything on their end (this means if you lose your master password they cannot help you).
Check out 1Password here and learn more for yourself.
6. BUFFER
I’ve been using Buffer for about two years now. I use it to easy schedule tweets, posts to Facebook groups, and the odd Google+ (yes it still exists).
7. AMAZON PUBLISHER STUDIO
This is one of the best Chrome extensions for bloggers! I use it all the time and it makes adding affiliate links to my blog posts so easy.
When you have the Amazon Publisher Studio installed, here are the steps you need to take to link to your Amazon Associate links:
- Highlight the word or phrase that you want to link.
- Select the product and hit Go (or type in specifics to get what you’re looking for).
That’s it!
Download this amazing blogging extension.
8. NOFOLLOW
By installing this extension you will see what links are NoFollow’d. This is useful to double check your own links and to see if any backlinks are not serving their purpose.
9. SKIMLINKS
Skimlinks turns everyday links (like to Target) into an affiliate link for you. It’s an easy way to earn some extra income.
Download it here by making an account with Skimlinks first.
10. COLORZILLA
I LOVE this tool!
If you do a lot of designing, whether it’s graphics or title images for Pinterest you need this extension. It’s how you match colors perfectly. If you see a color online you like, just click it and it gives you the hex code. This has been so useful for me when it comes to making Pinterest images (I used it when I made the graphic for the Mediavine review – I wanted it to match the ad network).
11. MOMENTUM
This extension transforms any new tab you open to a task reminder.
It’s simple, but it’s awesome.
12. EVERNOTE
I don’t use Evernote for everyday things, but you can easily clip articles or whatever you want from the web into it by using your Chrome Extension.
13. KEYWORDS EVERYWHERE
I’m trying to like this, but once you go SEMrush, you never go back it seems.
